Injen Hydro Shield Reviews

Just made it...

Reviewed By Stephen R (Henrico, VA) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Malibu —7/31/2009 10:35 PM

I've had the Hydro Shield for a couple of weeks, however, certain other of Life's concerns consumed my time and the package, along with several other auto-related projects, went unnoticed until this afternoon. I was allowed a rare half day off and, given the ease of access to my air filter, I focused my attention there (e.g. cleaning, inspecting, oiling, etc.) and finally got the Injen pre-filter on. My idea of checking the weather often consists of looking outside and, therefore, I had no idea of the storm moving in. I had just made the right turn into the gas station when one of those sudden summer downpours left everything soaked; most important: the roads. Normally, my filter sucks up any moisture and gags my MAF sensor and needs time to dry out. Today was the exception. I'm convinced. Cheap; effective; mindlessly simple to install; perfect fit. Get one.

EconoAid Throttle Body Booster Reviews

great investment

Reviewed By Don J (Appleton, WI) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Durango —6/6/2015 8:08 AM

I installed the Econoaid throttle body booster and no kidding I'm getting 3 mpg better on my 5.7 hemi Durango than before. Between the aFE intake magna flow pipes and this I'm now getting about 17/23 vs 14/20. The biggest part is the little booster gasket for $30.00. Power wise I can't tell much but that's been covered with the other mentioned parts. Get one!

Cold air intake

Reviewed By Matthew G (Houston, TX) Reviewed for a 1992 Ford Mustang —7/11/2014 6:36 AM

After cleaning and rubbing with alcohol this stuck very well. It really did shield the heat from from cold air intake, which would get extremely through a combination of texas weather and the engine.
