K&N 57 Series Air Intake on 2002 Monte Carlo SS

Reviewed By John H (HOLLAND, MI) Reviewed for a 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo —1/11/2014 12:56 PM

The K&N 57 Series Air Intake was a relatively easy install on the 2002 Monte Carlo SS. It seems to have added a little more horsepower and somewhat more mpg. I am pleased with the appearance and the added benefits. I would recommend it to others with similar applications

Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor Reviews

Review for 06 Monte Carlo LT with 3.9 V6.

Reviewed By Paul S (Waukesha, WI) Reviewed for a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo —6/17/2010 7:46 AM

The mass airflow sensor really compliments the stage one PCM I installed about a month ago. It's hard to guess number-wise what kind of extra power is being made, but the wheelspin on a full throttle launch is much greater than it was before, and that's on dry pavement with Z rated Nitto's installed. For a V6 powered, 4 speed slushbox, this boat now runs to 60 in 7 seconds flat. Too bad Jet doesn't make a 6 speed swapout. Still, I have no regrets ordering the part. The installation took less than 15 minutes and did deliver a noticeable increase in hp.
