"i love it,the extra torque is a beautiful thing!" —Timothy C from Lehighton, PA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"As expected, makes more power at part throttle and midrange RPM. I'm not seeing the advertised mileage jump and 98% of the time I don't have a heavy foot. My truck is heavily modified so mileage doesn't surprise me. Responds like a larger engine now. Worth the power increase but don't be surprised if mileage stays the same. I suspect that the closer to stock your vehicle is, you may see mileage benefits. I'll buy another one without hesitation. You will get your money's worth if you have realistic expectations." —Bob C from Saint Paul, MN bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"The K&N 77 was easy to install, and I'm not real mechanicaly motivated. I couldn't beleive the difference in power and sound.I have been a little to heavy on the foot to notice any mpg increase. I wish I would of installed it 5 years ago when I bought the truck." —Thaddeus S from Dover , PA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"My Z71 can finally breathe. Noticed the power gains immediately." —Brandon W from Water Valley, MS bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"Install took me about an hour, took my time as not to make a mistake. Instructions could be a tad clearer, but not bad. Item looks great in engine compartment, and fit was good, if not a bit snug. The first thing I noticed was sound, just right!. The engine seems to idle smoother, and is quieter at idle.Have'nt checked gas mileage yet.I'm completely satisfied with everything, from product to purchase, I'll be back!" —Robert P from North Tonawanda, NY bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"Very nice looking on the truck" —Timothy M from Phila, PA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"I put the intake on my 2002 Silverado extended cab and it makes a huge difference! You dont notice on days when its around 35 degrees but if its warm out you can hear the intake aggressively sucking in air and you notice the better fuel economy and it makes my straight pipes roar even louder! 1000% worth the money!" —Eric Z from Godfrey, IL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"I couldn't ask for more. I installed this on my 5.3L Silverado. After my performance exhaust, I went from about 350 miles to the tank to about 400. After the volant, I reset the computer and drove it hard in an attempt to break it in. So after flooring it almost every time i drove ( =D !! ) I still got a tiny bit more gas mileage. I can't wait to see what it's like under normal driving. AND the performance is awesome! I can burn rubber in the low-end AND the high-end now. I was amazed when I heard those tires chirp twice. The instructions are vague, but my girlfriend and I were able to install it in 2 or 3 hours. In short: better throttle response, gas mileage and performance." —Steven H from Austin, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"I'm am verry happy with my recent purchase of the Volant Cold Air Intake. The fit and finish of the product is superior to any other CAI I have used. It fit very snug, had no fitment issues and looks great under the hood. The material used to make the tube is thick and durable with a glossy smooth air track. You also have to enjoy the added rumble when you get down on it!" —Michael K from Baytown, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"Fast delivery and it was easy to install." —Cathy H from Manhattan, KS bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"Overall intake is awesome. Looks great, gives engine a nice sound, improved highway milage from 20 to about 22. Haven't driven enough in city to see if mileage improved." —Kodiak M from Socorro, NM bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
