"The biggest difference I have seen has been in throttle response in my 1500HD with 6.0L. Before the cold air intake it was sluggish and I really had to step on it to get going. Not anymore!! Very happy with the performance and look of the Volant!!" —Chris W from Leander, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"THIS INTAKE KIT MADE MY THROTTLE MORE SENSETIVE AND RESPONSIVE I LIKE IT AS FOR SHIPPING NOT VERY HAPPY MY INTAKE CAME DENTED AND SCRATCH UP" —Richard P from Albuquerque, NM bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"Quality of all parts was very good. Fit and finsh was outstanding. I beat your install time. Your engineers have done a good job here on the equipment and instructions.
PS: I am a manufacturing engineer, and a difficult customer by most standards, and have owned over 50 cars and trucks." —Charlie H from Berlin, MD bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado.
"I couldn't ask for more. I installed this on my 5.3L Silverado. After my performance exhaust, I went from about 350 miles to the tank to about 400. After the volant, I reset the computer and drove it hard in an attempt to break it in. So after flooring it almost every time i drove ( =D !! ) I still got a tiny bit more gas mileage. I can't wait to see what it's like under normal driving. AND the performance is awesome! I can burn rubber in the low-end AND the high-end now. I was amazed when I heard those tires chirp twice. The instructions are vague, but my girlfriend and I were able to install it in 2 or 3 hours. In short: better throttle response, gas mileage and performance." —Steven H from Austin, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2002 Chevy Silverado, 6.0L V8.
"This product made it seem as though the engine in my truck doesn't have to work as hard as it used to in order to acelerate, espcially while pulling things such as my father's boat." —Joseph S from Mount Vernon, IN bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2002 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light-duty, 5.3L V8.
"After installing the K&N I could tell an increase in horsepower and the sound is good. Haven't driven enough to detect any better gas millage. I'm not real good at working under the hood of a vehicle but this unit was fairly simple to install. The instructions that came with the unit are easy to read and follow." —Danny N from Bremen, GA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2002 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light-duty, 5.3L V8.
