"the intake was very easy to install" —Patrick G from Oakhurst, NJ bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
"I've used K&N before and here I am right back installing another intake on another vehicle. I haven't tried anything else because I haven't felt the need to. Drilling the holes for the frame and locating the correct hardware for the steps were the only issue with installation." —Robert P from Augusta , GA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
"I recently installed the Airaid throttle body spacer and cold air filter kit on my new (600 miles) 2009 Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab 4x4 pickup. The truck is a 5.3L Flex fuel,4speed Automatic with tow/haul,traction control, 3.73 gears , and 20" factory wheels/tires. The factory air filter system is very restrictive and the performance was slow across the entire rpm range. The Airaid throttle body spacer and cold air kit are easy to install in about an hour. With tow/haul engaged and traction control off the truck is still slow from a standing start(probably the 20" wheels)but the mid to upper rpm range horsepower and torque are noticeably better and it sounds better too. No increase in fuel mileage detected and the kit is a little pricey but still worth the improved performance." —George B from Powell, TN bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
"Excellent product! Istant throttle response could not be happier." —Gary W from Trumbull, CT bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
"I found the filter element installation tricky. The instructions made it look easier than it was. No matter how hard I pushed getting the filter element onto the housing, I never heard the snap in sound that is mentioned in the instructions." —Fred D from Port Jefferson Station, NY bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
"This is the 2nd vehicle I have installed the K&N cold air intake on. It sounds great. I have noticed minor horsepower and MPG gain. The only thing I dont like is the enclosure around the filter only covers 3 sides. The other side is open to the fender well. Not too sure what is going to happen when I drive through rain and snow. Other than that, I love it." —Jack A from Phoenix, AZ bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
