AEM DryFlow Cold Air Intake Replacement Filters Reviews

good design

Reviewed By Leandra U (ENCINITAS, CA) Reviewed for a 1994 Chevy Suburban —12/1/2015 8:36 AM

I have been dirt driving for 50+ years. This is better made than K&N, S&B, and some others I've tried over the years. I have a prefilter on it to extend cleaning times. Notably more power and less smoke on acceleration in my diesel.

Easy install but 2 of the 4 replacement bolts are too long

Reviewed By Nathan F (YUKON, OK) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Suburban —3/30/2017 5:46 AM

Great product. However, two of the replacement bolts are too long for the right hand side of the throttle body. If you tighten too much it could damage the plastic housing the throttle body connects into. I've notice a 1 to 1.5 mile increase in MPG but I also installed a AEM air intake system too.

Love the New K&N 57 Air Intake

Reviewed By Michael P (Leander, TX) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Suburban —1/5/2017 9:14 AM

I originally had an AEM cold air intake, but that setup had utilized the old Vortec box that connected to the throttle body. Well the metal clamp broke off and the Vortec box was just sitting on there not clamped down, and GM no longer makes that part, so I had no choice but to shop around and found that the K&N 57 Air Intake connected directly to the throttle body on top of the engine of my 1999 Chevy Suburban. Just came back from a 3000 mile road trip and it performed excellently.
