Way better than expected........

Reviewed By Tywone W (RAPID CITY, SD) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Suburban —3/19/2015 8:21 PM

I read a lot of reviews on this intake and I finally decided to get it and I couldn't be happier. It only took about 30 minutes to put it in really. Would have been nice if instructions were in color but they were still easy enough to follow. That's the only downside. I've already picked up an extra 4 mpg in my 03 suburban. I definitely recommend this intake. Half the cost of a K&N and it performs and looks good.

Good bang for buck for 7400 vortec

Reviewed By Eric S (Gasport, NY) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Suburban —1/11/2014 4:52 PM

If you have a 7.4 vortec, this is a must have. Just comparing the stock MAF with this one, there is going to be better mass volume AND better velocity. The honeycomb is removed, and the Inner diameter is larger. The noticeable difference is right off throttle all the way up to 4500rpm. It is molded plastic though, so we'll see over time if there is any cracking with the heat cycles of the motor compartment. No CEL came on either.
