Not bad for the price

Not too bad for the price. Don't rely solely on the pictures in the instructions, as they showed the MAF sensor installed backwards. Fit was not perfect, I had to trim some of the metal housing in order to install it. I had to force things a little as things did not align perfect. I didn't notice a difference in MPG. Seems to be a slight increase in throttle response & maybe less turbo lag. I do enjoy the sound increase, much deeper growl, it sounds great with the windows down. No regrets.

2003 Chevy Suburban 2500 2WD, otherwise totally stock

Reviewed By Ben R (Granada Hills, CA) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Suburban —8/12/2009 4:26 PM

It doesn't feel like I have more power, but it does seem to come on smoother and there are no dead spots in the throttle. I'm not seeing any mpg improvement but my regular commute is in LA traffic either under 30mph or over 70mph, not exactly the gas mileage sweet spot on this truck. The stock intake tube has two HUGE sound-reduction chambers, so I do not doubt manufacturer claims that it flows much more air than stock. Unfortunately most of my driving conditions don't take advantage of that. I imagine much greater gains are possible when compounded with a programmer and/or exhaust upgrades. Installation instructions were clear, easy to follow, and the product fit and finish is better than stock. No complaints.

Great price and product

Reviewed By Eric E (Rural Retreat, VA) Reviewed for a 2017 Toyota Tundra —4/5/2017 8:40 PM

Would be 5 stars but the install isn't 100%. The pictures and the is talk were smooth and easy, although some of the directions and steps are unclear, so for that reason I didn't give 5 stars. Could be alittle better fit and finish with engine cover and airflow map sensor peice. Other than that very happy with the sound and quality of this product.
