Gained 1.5 mpg and improved throttle response, overall satisfied . Wouldn't buy anything but K&N.

Had to grind down heat shield a bit to get hood to close but that's only complaint. Really easy to install. Absolutely love the sound when gettin on it and is definitely lil more pep than stock. Hoping to add more bolt ons and hopefully get even more outta this tahoe.

this is the 3rd pickup i have used afe air systems on.this one like the other two i have never not seen any noticeable increase in mileage but do see a 50 degree or more drop in egts.the amount of more power claimed isnt noticable in the diesel engines unless put on a dino.the other pickups i used the oiled filters and had trouble with the maps if i happened to get too much oil on the filter so this time i am trying the dry afe filter which is claimed to be cleanable.no cleaning instructions came with the system and one bolt was missing from the kit for the top cover.i substitued wing bolts which work better anyway.if the filter holds up and is truly cleanable the cost will soon be recovered in not having to buy expensive factory air filters.
