Great first upgrade

Reviewed By Shane M (O FALLON, MO) —4/23/2015 8:11 AM

It took me about 75 minutes to install, so the estimate of 90 is very reasonable. I had read several reviews indicating the instructions were not good, but I had no real issues with them, and loved the pictures. It was a small pain to go back and forth between the pictures and the exploded diagram to see exactly which screws to use for each step, but not a big deal. The performance gain is noticeable, better throttle response, more power, and as others stated a very cool sound.

Great Intake (some modification required)

Reviewed By Michael M (DEBARY, FL) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota Tundra —4/12/2015 6:36 AM

I'll start off by saying I'm very happy with this intake. I purchased and installed it myself on my 05 Tundra in the hopes of gaining a couple mpg as other reviewers had stated and it performs as expected. I've already seen a 2 mpg increase. An added benefit is my truck now sounds completely bada$$. I'm surprised I haven't seen a decrease in mpg because of how much I just rev the engine to hear it. However, I had to modify the included heat shield due to a clearance issue with my hood.
