"Hey folks, just put an Airaid intake on my 2001 PT Cruiser with automatic and non-turbo. Istallation was easy, although overall fit is not 100%. The clips that hold the top of the air cleaner on do not stay on the Airaid. The noise is initially louder, but only on hard acceleration, and after a couple of weeks acceptable. I have been recording gas mileage for over a year on my car, and after one fillup I got an extra 2 miles to the gallon. I don't know if this extra mileage will continue, time will tell. Power seems about the same to me, but trottle response is better, and the car seems to have crisper shifts, it does not seem to get bogged down on those shifts. I was very leary of buying an item like this, I felt like I would be buying a placebo effect part, but after purchasing, I feel the $159 spent was worth the money, placebo effect or true performance increase." —Greg D from Tallahassee, FL bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
