Easy mod for awesome sound and immediate gains

Reviewed By David K (Abingdon, MD) Reviewed for a 2012 Dodge Ram —8/23/2016 8:40 PM

Great product for a loud growl and immediate hp and torque gain. The loudness is not for everyone though so be forewarned. The installation took over the stated time as the instructions were not clear on some areas, but was able to figure it out. Was not prepared to have left over bolts and screw but the kit is for a range of model years. Also this kit is not 50 state legal so be forewarned.

Good Product

Had a major issue trying to get sensor into tube with their grommet. I was afraid I was going to break sensor. Photos in directions could have been a little larger. Would have been nice to have a pre-bent breather tube. Directions say to cut at 11". You have to cut it just right or you get kinks in the tube.

2003 Dakota 4.7 L V8 with Automatic Tranny

Reviewed By Duane C (KIRKLAND, WA) Reviewed for a 2003 Dodge Dakota —8/18/2016 1:11 AM

MPG- loss 13 down to 12.7 with new large MagnaFlow muffler. I did have a manifold leak at the time. IDK if that matters. I think MPG will improve when I get a tune-up and install an in-line performance module. I may need a more efficient fuel pump or injectors, we'll see. Performance- Nice little HP and torque boost, probably close to "as advertised". RPMs- more of em' & higher faster & more freely. Fewer RPMs at cruising speed. RPMs stay lower longer with a light foot. Shifts like a kitten.
