I feel like it gets a little better air flow, nothing crazy, I haven't noticed much gas savings but that's not really what I got it for. I mainly purchased it so the engine could get better air flow to go along with my upgraded pipes

I replaced the dry filter with a one inch shorter K&N. The result was a much quieter intake with an increase over stock of almost 3 mpg. All in all an inexpensive, easy to maintain performance upgrade. I've been using K&N filters for 30 years. I will continue to purchase their products.
