K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit Reviews

K&N Filters are great Install not so great

Reviewed By David R (ITASCA, IL) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Challenger —8/22/2015 8:21 AM

First off K&N makes a quality product. This was my first High Flow Intake.Downloaded the install video and used the paper instructions as well. The video is poor and the paper instructions don't go into detail for this installation. The saddle bracket install is hard to see on the video. You would think the video would be better. Don't have enough space for all the problems with this install. It sounds good and I do feel more power. Will be checking for mpg as I drive.

2015 SXT CHALLENGER

Very easy install took about 20 minutes. Had my doubts about this but after a month I noticed a gain of 1.5 mpg. The acceleration seems smoother and a little quicker. Pair this with a k&n intake and you will notice a difference. The whistle also sounds cool.

2012 Chally RT, 6 SPD

Reviewed By william c (savannah, GA) Reviewed for a 2012 Dodge Challenger —8/17/2015 8:50 PM

I added the spacer on my 2012 R/T. Whistle was VERY SLIGHT, much less than most noted IMO. I DID do a b4/after mpg test by resetting the car's MPG counter, drove VERY similarly, added the spacer, reset MPG counter and drove approx. under the same conditions, and REALLY noticed mpg increase (about 3.5-3.8 MPG BETTER, so pays for itself. Power wise, maybe a BIT MORE low end TQE, or cud b just better response. Only complaint, had to use long bolts vs instructed short ones. WUD DEF RECOMMEND!!!!!
