"I have a 2004 Durango. It took me about an hour to install the intake kit. I would say the installation was easy and the instructions were great. I like the deeper sound from the engine but have not seen a increase in MPG yet, having only driven about 50 miles. I would buy it again." —John S from Lockport, NY bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2004 Dodge Durango, 4.7L V8.
"I have been looking at this unit for my Dodge Durango since I purchased the vehicle in 2004 ... I just installed the K&N last week (May 2010) and now I am kicking myself for waiting so long. Runs great, looks great and sounds great!!" —Rod W from Columbus, GA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Dodge Durango, 5.7L Hemi.
"I was planning to buy the Mopar CAI but after reading several reviews that AEM Brute Force and the Mopar are exactly the same, I went for the AEM and saved over $70 including the !0% discount from Autoanything. This is CAI from AEM is better than the Injen CAI that I installed on my Miata. My Durango now feels that its ready to jump everytime I step on the gas. Maybe all psychological but it does improve the exhaust sound of the D. The installation is also pretty straight forward. It took me 2.5 hours but it's because I didn't have all the tools. Definitely recommended." —J. J. B from Fairfax, VA bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
"The Brute Force AEM did have a little dent, couldn't see it once installed. It didn't come with the same BRUTE FORCE Decals as in the pictures. It did add power and along with the Air Raid Throttle body spacer it makes a big difference. That Air Raid Throttle space sounds almost like a belt squeal. Any more noise than it makes and I'd take it out. Over all it did what I wanted. Power, MPG and looks cool." —Paul S from Parma, OH bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
"I combined this product with a TrueFlow filter. They have the best filter and Airaid has the very best intake tube there is...PLUS IT IS A BARGAIN!!!! It really allowed my Hemi to breathe. Steel tubes can rust eventually and they allow more heat transfer into your intake, this tube eliminates those problems and installs quick and painlessly. Really smooths the idle and improves mileage. I got 21.6mpg on the highway locked into 4WD during a week long storm. Even better now! Increase of 3mpg. Also has a more aggressive tone above 2,000 rpm. I love it!!!!" —Troy D from Sturgeon Bay, WI bought an Airaid Modular Intake Tube for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
"Kick down and gas mileage are much better. Instruction are simple but the printed pictures are not always easy to understand. It's easyer when looking at the pdf on your computer screen by zooming in. Must go back and forth between the instructions and the part list as the part number is not listed in the step by step instructions. One could save at least 15 minutes!" —Michel M from St-hubert, QC bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
"sense i've added the K&N cool air intake i'm gain torque that you can feel in the seat and a nice little noise under the hood ... sounds great!!!" —Naomi S from Flat Rock, MI bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
"Product arrived promptly and as described.Installation was easy with excellent installation instructions. Installed in combination with a performance muffler. Improved throttle response is noticable. No noticable effect on mpg. Hemi engine has plenty of power to begin with, so potential increase in power is not noticable." —Thomas G from Dayton, OH bought an Airaid Jr. Kits for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
"Sounds and looks great. Instructions were pretty accurate. Nice hosepower gain, no exact measurement, but can feel a difference. Nice addition to Magnaflow exhaust system. Really brought Hemi to life!!" —Chris S from Belleville, IL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Dodge Durango.
