Acceleration

Sounds great in the cab. You can definatly feel the power, and acceleration is awesome! Still can't get over how mean it sounds!!! Had some trouble with the heat shield screws but they eventually lined up and went in and also the plastic oxygen senser guard cracked when I had to put it back in the tube but no engine issues no lights came on! Great item though can't wait to see how it does pulling the camper trailer!

bolts rule

Looks great, noticeable performance increase, although vent hose has to be cut and very difficult to slide over OEM TUBE. Should be form fitted. Barbed threaded fitting is plastic and will very easily snap because of hose installation. Metal fitting should be supplied instead of plastic. Available from amazon. Good luck getting parts from manufacturer.

K&N 71 Series Blackhawk Air Intake System

Reviewed By Timothy R (HIGHLAND, MI) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Ram —1/12/2015 9:59 AM

Installation was pretty simple and took a first timer about 2 hours from start to finish. I took my time and double checked if not triple checked everything. My 2013 Ram 1500 sounds, runs and looks great. I have a blacked out Ram so the blacked out air intake is a perfect match. Have only had it installed for a few days and have not noticed an increase in MPG as of yet. I have been hitting the gas a lot to hear the roar it makes.
