Fit

Reviewed By Clarence A (FAYETTEVILLE, GA) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford F-150 —6/21/2016 11:28 AM

It sounds good and my mileage went up a little. My only problem was the fit, the chrome tube would not reach the filter, had to use metal tape to make it fit. Other than that I'm happy with it. see picture

Price was right, K&N rebate made that better, fit with no problems, and is a quality system that look good under the hood. I recommend it.

Increased my MPG

Reviewed By Phillip T C (GRAND RAPIDS, MI) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Escape —6/20/2016 1:37 PM

2014 Ford Escape AWD, with 2.0 EcoBoost. I bought this mainly for increasing gas mileage, and it did. I get about 2 mpg better on the highway; 28 MPG now, instead of 26, at 73 mph cruise speed. It is a bit noisy when accelerating, mainly at partial throttle, when the waste gate is still shedding excess boost. The torque and HP increase is noticeable, too, but ONLY when running Premium gas. I drive a lot, 35,000 miles per year, so the price of this intake/filter will pay for itself in about 1 yr.
