Increased my MPG

Reviewed By Phillip T C (GRAND RAPIDS, MI) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Escape —6/20/2016 1:37 PM

2014 Ford Escape AWD, with 2.0 EcoBoost. I bought this mainly for increasing gas mileage, and it did. I get about 2 mpg better on the highway; 28 MPG now, instead of 26, at 73 mph cruise speed. It is a bit noisy when accelerating, mainly at partial throttle, when the waste gate is still shedding excess boost. The torque and HP increase is noticeable, too, but ONLY when running Premium gas. I drive a lot, 35,000 miles per year, so the price of this intake/filter will pay for itself in about 1 yr.

Quality Intake System

Reviewed By William S (LEITCHFIELD, KY) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford Escape —6/16/2015 4:23 AM

Being a Ford guy and knowing that Airaid intake systems are used as OEM equipment on the Ford and Shelby Mustangs, I feel that you probably couldn't buy, or use, a higher quality system than Airaid!

Great Addition

Reviewed By Ryan S (Florence, KY) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford Escape —6/26/2012 8:42 AM

Reasonably priced, easy to install, sounds great, easy to maintain, and looks awesome under the hood. The one thing that hung me up during installation is that the bracket that actually holds the filter/tubing in place, attaches to the battery bar. I am running some larger aftermarket batteries under the hood for a stereo system so I had to work a bit to get it just right, but it was not a fault with the product. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.
