Don't hesitate to buy this, you won't regret it!" —Stewart Y from Santa Fe, NM bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Ford Expedition.
"First, Auto Anything was great! Friendly people who know their stuff. I will definately purchase from them again. The Volant CAI I bought was great too. I was hoping for a boost in MPG. After 3-4 tank fulls of gas, the dashboad computer says that I've gone from an average of 13.4 MPG to 14.1 MPG. While I have not taken a long trip yet to test highway mileage, I suspect the MPG improvement will be more like a full mile to the gallon. According to Volant, HP and torque gains are 16 and 18. I can tell that the truck drives better. The throttle seems more responsive. It was not that loud either. I drive clients around in my truck. Had it been too loud, it could have caused a problem. Volant told me that it would be quieter than other brands because the air filter is enclosed in a box. I am happy with the noise level, or lack there of. Installation was easy - took a little time and fit like a glove. Volant forgot one of the rubber hoses. So, make sure you check the parts list before you go to install it. Volant provided a tech support number on the included instructions. A real person answered the phone - and the part was in the mail that day! Other remaks mention problems with the gasket for the mass-flow air sensor - I suspect some of those problems were because the factory gasket (it's like an o ring) had not been removed. I amost had similar problems until the factory gasket was removed. Then, everything fit together like it was meant to. By the way, it looks great when you pop the hood!" —Todd S from Derwood, MD bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Ford Expedition.
"I enjoyed the service and pricing I received through Auto Anything, it was superb!! They had no problem price matching a deal I had found through an authorized distributor and I received my product within 2 days of purchase...fast!! The intake was pretty simple to install and looks much nicer under the hood. I recently installed a Flow Master Exhaust a week prior to the air intake. Together they not only sound great, but work excellent. There is an obvious difference in response, sound and overall performance. I am unsure of actually gas mileage improvement, but when I would fill up a tank in the past it would say 391 miles until empty it now says 420. Overall I really like the Intake I would recommend this as well as an exhaust package to really help out performance. Two things: 1st) when you disconnect the TB, before starting your car you need to turn to ACC and floor it, turn off then start, (this is important in flood reset) 2nd) you may have hood clearance issues with the filter enclosure, but you need it air tight so you're not sucking in hot air." —Scott M from Quartz Hill, CA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Ford Expedition.
