"I wouldnt pay full price for this cold air intake, but hoped it would be a little better quaility. The instalation papers were a little hard to follow ie put bolt through flange with parts pictured below, then you get a 1"x1" picture of the part together. Kinda hard to make sure your using the correct lengh of bolt and the correct washers. Over it's a good product with almost a 1mpg gain." —Tyler M from Sand Springs, OK bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"Definitely worth the money, not only improves performance but also looks and sounds great!" —Sal S from Apo, AP bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"Good intake, directions could be a little clearer (especially what size bolt to use). Put this on a 2007 Sport Trac. Got it on in about an hour. Be aware, there is a 1" gap where the tube passes through the heat shield. K & N said its because the motor mounts flex." —Jeffery K from Alexandria, VA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"Looks great!! Sounds great!! Noticed increased HP the first time I punched it, and a nice growl as it sucked in a big gulp of air. As for increased gas mileage I'm not sure because I like the new found power!! The only draw back was the directions were only about 80% accurate!! You need some common sense to put it in because the instructions are just wrong at times. But even with bad instructions it only took about 90 min to install!!" —Matthew P from Naples, FL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"Easy to install small increase of power on the low end no increase on the top where I needed it." —Clifford D from Mexico, ME bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"I received my order and installed it the next day. It took me longer than 90 mintues but was worth the time and effort. The directions were very clear. I noticed an immediate power increase and fuel efficiency. I am getting 20 mpg plus on the turnpike. I greatly appreciate your free shipping and end of the year discount. I am a very happy camper." —Bob L from Margate, FL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"Love the sound. I think it has helped my mpg. Definitely helped the performance. Instructions are somewhat vague, they make you figure out some of the steps to do. Otherwise love the CAI. It looks and does great in my '07 Explorer Sport Trac" —Robin C from Madison, NC bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"I bought this intake after waiting for a model to be available for an '07 4.6 Ford. It was worth the wait. Great improvement of power. I am sure there will be mpg improvement when I keep my foot out it. READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING. They are not correct but you will make sense of them if you are familiar where all goes." —Robert L from Scottsdale, AZ bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"what a deal...turned my truck into a monster, sounds awesome sound too, already noticing improvement in my fuel mileage, just have to keep the right foot OFF the accelerator...lolEven though I have a Sport Trac the kit mounted right up no problems..." —Greg P from Minneapolis, MN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
"I've had my K&N FIPK CAI on my car for about a week now and all I can say is wow. To start with, the sound is gorgeous, it adds a deep tone to my 4 cylinder that I didn't think possible. The installation was quick and easy, a simple procedure of take one off put one on (the hardest part was putting the rubber trim on the heat shield), and once on the product looks great. For performance the difference is there, the car sits down and kicks a bit harder now and I've taken about a second and a quarter off of my 0-60 time. Since putting it on I've also noticed an impressive mileage gain, my mpg's went from averaging 23 to 27 over the last two tanks. The only downside that I can think of is that there is a noticeable droning from about 5000 RPM's that is quite loud (I happen to like it, but a few friends have voiced their displeasure). All in all I've found this to be a great product and would recommend it to anyone in the CAI market, in fact my dad just got one for his 2007 Sport Trac after trying out mine and being so impressed." —Nicholas F from Cape Coral, FL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Ford Explorer, Non-SVT, 2.0L 4-cyl. engine, with DOHC.
