"The Volant unit I installed on my f150 was relatively easy to install but you quickly get the feeling that whoever wrote the installation instructions never did the work. The air box didn't really fit where it was supposed to go without some minor modifications to the truck. There is a wiring harness that has to be moved (not mentioned in the instructions) then there is a small fuse box in the way that stops the air box from lining up with the intake. I moved the fuse box and lowered it out of the way. I could have saved some time if they mentioned moving the items in the instructions. Other than that, the product works great, you really notice the difference under acceleration more so than at slow speeds. I still think this is one of the better made units. I have had others on previous vehicles; I would definately buy his unit for the next vehicle." —Pat D from Clifton, VA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"Five minutes to install. Noticeable pick up and acceleration. I haven't measured MPG as of yet." —Larry R from Georgetown, TX bought a Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"I was very impressed with the look of the spacer, its a nice eye catcher under the hood. As far as performance goes i did notice a fair amount of low end power and torque. However the spacer does create a whistling noice have not decided if i like that or not yet? Overall i was very happy with the money to power ratio of this product. Oh and i saw a 1.7mpg in the city gain. not taken it on the highway drive yet." —Bradley H from North Richland Hills, TX bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"I have an increased throttle response, better pick up and better fuel efficiency.really noticeable." —Nelson G from Cutler Bay, FL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"I think it is well worth the money. I could feel how much smoother the engine ran, and it gave it noticable performance. Not to sure about gas mileage yet, didn't really check it. Pretty simple to install if you have any sense." —Joey G from Golden Meadow, LA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"Outstanding Service....Ordered it Monday morning, on my doorstep Wednesday afternoon. My son & I installed the system on my 06 F-150 in about an hour. The "How To" guide on fordtrucks.com is very helpful. I had a Vortex Duel Exhaust system installed last month and knew the other end could use some help also. Man, the Volant system really does work well. I noticed a lot more response from the 3-valve right off the bat. When you mash the gas people turn and look, "what the h...", It feels and sounds like my old 390 Mustang GT. The Volant Cold Air System fit great and is well worth the price. I really liked this truck when I bought it, now I'm totally in love with it..."It Rocks" Dennis G. Boise, Id." —Dennis G from Boise, ID bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"The AEM Brute Force Air Intake System makes a world of difference, I noticed that I have better MPG, a little bit more power, I also found that I run higher rpm's, which has given my truck better acceleration, if your looking for a good Air Intake System, the top of the line AEM Brute Force is the way to go..." —Jeremy D from Evadale, TX bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"Very simple to install. Sounds great with my Magna Flow exhaust. Definite increase in power and gas mileage. Well worth it." —Todd K from Woodinville, WA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"The instructions are very clear and simple to follow, although there was one step that didn't pertain to my engine, but aside from that they were very accurate. The power increase and throttle response is very apparent, as is the change in the exhaust tune coming from my Borla dual cat back system. Sounds real nice when you give it a little gas." —Michael S from Monroe, CT bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"The fit is OK. The brace that mounts on the alternator isn't right for the 02 Ford F150 4.2. It's too short. I had to pad the bracket the holds the intake tube with pipe insulation to get the proper height... after bending it and adding a nut between the bracket and the top of the alternator.. to raise it. Leave everything loose and tighten each section after everything is in place. Throtten response makes this kit worth the money. It's at least a 75% improvement. The feel on accelaration is totally different. No difference on milage. I've had these on 3 trucks and I'd get another one." —Nash G from Scarborough, ME bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2006 Ford F-150.
"Fast delivery, very easy to install (45 minutes). I installed it,took it for a ride with my two boys, and couldn't believe the added horsepower I had. Looks good, sounds good. Great product at a great price. Highly recommended! Thanks Auto Anything." —Joe S from Seymour, CT bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2006 Ford F-150.
