K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (50-State Legal) Reviews

Woke up my engine

Reviewed By William A (CHESAPEAKE, VA) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford F-150 —11/10/2016 2:16 AM

Chose this over the AirAid intake. Install took an hour. Instructions were easy though I referenced the YouTube video for the install. Took it for its first ride and felt the slight increase in throttle response, HP, and torque. Over time, I noticed highway mpg increased from 16-18 to 20-22 mpg at 60 mph (yeah I'm a slowpoke). City mpg increased to 16 mpg. I also hear a slight growl during acceleration and the cabin is quieter. Pretty big difference for my truck's first performance upgrade.

Still Questionable

Reviewed By Christopher D (Chunky, MS) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford F-150 —8/19/2016 5:36 AM

It looks great and is not really hard to install. I am not sure but I haven't really seen any change in MPG or HP. It does sound nice though. I took the glass cover off the airbox a couple days ago and the sound of my engine completely changed(in a good way). Overall, I like it.

AirAid U-Build-It Universal Intake Kits Reviews

works great!

Reviewed By Robert G (Greensboro, NC) Reviewed for a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee —10/3/2015 5:58 AM

This kit contained all the angles needed to make an intake tube for my Jeep 4.7L V8. The only challenge was to find a grommet for the IAT sensor, but I was able to get one. Now my intake is clean with very smooth air flow. This is a great kit at a great price!
