"Too early to tell on performance. Bought it for power and gas mileage. My truck is used as second vehicle and not driven daily. Air intake was easy to install and looks great. You will need to trim and inch off of intake tube if you have throttle body spacer as I did. No nig deal though. Only took seconds." —Matthew S from Chapin, SC bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2003 Ford F-150.
"Very good intake system, the filter is a Dryflow K&N (no oil), solid metal construction all around minus the fittings and the MAF sensor housing that will be reused from the old assembly. I also own a Brute Force Intake System for a 98 Jeep Wrangler and both perform outstandingly better than the stock intake systems. Horsepower & torque gains will be most noticeable in low end, but overall "breathing", performance, and fuel mileage well improved. I have a Poweraid TBS (throttle body spacer) on the Ford and installation was skewed slightly, but was still easily accomplished with only some of the tubing and filter assembly a little off." —Josh W from Fallon, NV bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2003 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
"This kit was easy to install, the rubber seal could have been designed better. Installation took about an hour. The power increase was noticable right away. My fuel milage increased slightly, not as much as I expected." —Benjamin F from Monroeville, IN bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2003 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.

"I have a 2003 F-150 with the 5.4. I started my upgrades with a set of flowmasters. My original plan was to try to improve economy(with the price of gas over $3.00/gal, I have to. I decided to further my mods with the intake. I installed it myself(the only hard part was the foam guard to fit around the heat guard) and was up and rolling shortly thereafter. I immediately noticed better low end power and about 1.5 extrat mile to gallon around town. I strongly reccomend it. Enjoy" —William M from Clayton , NC bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2003 Ford F-150.
