Airaid Jr. Kits Reviews

Great Intake For People On A Budget!

Reviewed By Julio A (HUNTINGTON STATION, NY) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford F-150 —7/31/2013 11:47 AM

The Jr. Kit definitely boosted the performance of my F-150, not as much as I expected but it did. It seems that the truck is picking up speed slightly faster. Additionally, it gives the engine bay a much cleaner look than the factory intake tube. However, the notch that snaps the Airaid intake tube into the factory air box seems to strip easily. It's already more worn than the notch on the factory tube and I've only had to remove it once. The filter on the other hand is very high quality.

Spectre cold air intake for 2004 FX4 5.4

Reviewed By Antonio v (Edinburg, TX) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford F-150 —7/24/2013 8:24 PM

Great intake and price is even better. I did run into a problem with the housin for the mass air flow sensor though. The housin was welded upside down so sensor wouldn't connect properly. It was off millimeters but that made all the difference. I had to drill new holes and rig up a gasket but once I got that it worked just fine and it sounds great. I noticed a slight gain in hp as well. Installation was frustrating because of problem I ran into.

Volant Cold Air Intakes Reviews

Good product

Reviewed By kATHERINE S (Volant, PA) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford F-150 —10/14/2012 8:29 PM

I bought this for my truck, and noticed a immediate increase in horsepower, as well as noise. I have also noticed about 1 MPG gas mileage difference. How ever, this was very very hard to install, and I was not able to get the optional air scoop installed, because of the lack of directions, so that was a waste of money. I would recommend this, but expect to spend some time installing it, and don't even worry about the air scoop, you won't be able to install it.
