"I have had the K&N FIPK Air Intake kit installed for a little over a week. Immediate gain in power. I have not notice any improvement in gas mileage which is disappointing but I have only run two tanks through it since the install. Overall a great value.
The installation was a breeze and took about 45 minutes from the time I opened the box until I test drove my truck." —Ronnie B from Carrollton, TX bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Ford F-150, 4.6L V8.
"I recently installed the K&N FIPK Air Intake on my truck. I was very pleased with the time of delivery. It actually came about three days before the tracking number said it would. It was real easy to put on just a few clamps and bolts. Had to drill one 1/8'' hole for the heat shield mounting bracket. No big deal. Immediately felt a bump in acceleration and it makes my truck sound a bit throatier as well. I cant keep my foot out of the gas long enough to get an accurate number in the increase of fuel economy yet, maybe a couple more weeks. Definitely a great purchase and would recommend it to anyone." —Adam M from New Bern, NC bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Ford F-150, 4.6L V8.
"The intake sounds great once you get it installed. The installation instructions suck. I ended making my own up as I went along. If you are installing on a late model (2004 or later) F-150, I had to drill a hole for one of the mounting holes. Also, I found it easier to install the tube on the throttle body and clamp it down once snug. Then you can attach the plastic tube and clamp and work backwards.
Overall a great product that really looks awesome and helped my trucks performance." —Jennifer Y from Carrollton, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.

"It was not as easy as the AirAid or K&N. A lot of assembly and disassembly due to poor instructions, no sense of order. Very good quality though. Has a large paper element that my be expensive to replace but is guaranteed for 100,000 miles. It is not a rechargeable filter like others. Its shape will make it hard to find a rechargeable filter. Must disassemble system to change filter. Once filter is off not much clearance to put back on. Could feel the HP increase with a tune. Sounds good too." —Anthony S from Colorado Springs, CO bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
