2010 F150 5.4L King Ranch Bed aFe Cold Air Intake

Reviewed By Vince M (HAPPY VALLEY, OR) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford F-150 —10/11/2016 8:42 AM

I knew I needed to try something to increase my gas mileage. I am getting about 10.7 mpg in my 2010 F150 King Ranch. The 6" lift on 35's definitely does not help. I was skeptical at first but I am happy I made the purchase. I am getting around 12.3 mpg now. I calculated it out and I should have paid this thing off within the first year just from the gas savings. I was a little surprised with the "drone" sound at first but it has been growing on me ever since.

Easy upgrade for an I'm price

Reviewed By Keith N (DURANT, OK) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford F-150 —11/22/2017 8:25 PM

Put this on my F150 Ecoboost. Kind of difficult to put on without disconnecting the hose going into the throttle body because it blocks the nuts. Aside from that a pretty simple upgrade especially if you combine it with the AFE intake. I'm loving the combo of this and the Magnum Force intake. Noticeable power increase and fuel economy is better. Seems a little overpriced for no more than it truly does but compared to a lot of performance upgrades, not too bad.

Great product

I love my aFe CAI, truck runs like a beast. I recommend buying an extra like I did so when it's time time clean your filter, you can pop in the extra and actually have time to let the old one dry once cleaned. Then next time you change your filter you have one cleaned and oiled ready to go. It beats waiting 24 to 36 hour s for these sicker to dry.
