"Although I haven't finished my own testing. The experience with this product has been great. From the very easy installation process to the immediate performance improvement. Initial calculations have shown an approxiamate 2MPG increase on intown driving. That's fantastic, I can't wait for the opportunity to try it on the open road. Even, if there is no further gain, which is not possible, the noticable performance gains have made the product worth the money. I have already reccommended this product to my friends!!!" —Scott M from Enterprise, AL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1997 Ford F-250.
"I've only driven my truck a few times since installing my K & N Cold air intake, so far I love it. I notice a deep tone when I accelerate and it seems a little more responsive.
I will put one of these on all my vehicles in future." —Anton B from Calgary, AB bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1997 Ford F-250, 4.6L V8.
"I bought this for my F250 7.3 it was easy to install and noticed quicker throttle response right away. I have a k&n intake on my jeep and would opt for an AFE over it. The K&N in good but I really like my new AFE." —Michael T R from Battle Ground, WA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 1997 Ford F-250.
"I purchased a Magnaflow Cat-Back and my 2000 Jetta VR6 was just gassing badly. The AEM, in replacing the stock box, gave me back the anytime torque and completely smooth through the entire rev range. I hesitate to apply adjectives but you'll like what this intake does if you have a reduced back pressure exhaust." —Terry B from Davenport, IA bought an AEM Cold Air Intake System for a 1997 Ford F-250, VR6.
"There was a minor issue with the installation instructions that was easy to overcome. Once installed the loud pedal got louder, power came REAL easy. Best part is that with other adjustments made (tonneau and exhaust) I got about 4mpg improvement on a 650 mile round trip that could not be avoided. Never mind why any right-thinking person would take a 1997 Ford F-250 on a trip like that but it more than hauled the freight." —Terry B from Davenport, IA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 1997 Ford F-250.
"The K&N filter went on my 97 Ford F-250 7.3 Diesel with ease. It looks great and seems to perform as advertised.
Jim" —James P from Zeeland, MI bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1997 Ford F-250, 7.3L Power Stroke.
"Great product! The install was fairly easy only taking about 1 hour, not rushing. The fit was right on the money with every part fitting exactly where it should. The small breather hose is the only part you need to cut to size, which is easily done with a knife. The Cold Air intake made my Jeep run smoother with a little power increase. It even made my 6 speed transmission shifting feel smoother by the vehicle not lunging forward between gear shifts, by releasing back pressure on the motor." —Randy G from Charlottesville, VA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 1997 Ford F-250, 4.0L 6-cyl. engine.
