"All in all a pretty good buy. The paper filters for my truck are about $27.00 a piece, so just having the K&N filter pays for the whole kit by itself. The only complaints I have are that the housing didnt fit perfectly without a little help from the utility knife so that the tabs to lock the whole houseing down would slide in place. Also the kit didnt come with the BANKS stickers shown in the directions. I have noticed better mileage and quicker throttle response. Have not pulled with it yet so well see how it affects that too." —Bob H from Battle Creek, NE bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2000 Ford F-250, 6.8L V10.

The installation was pretty straight forward, take old one out and put new in the place, but you do have to do some modification so that the legs fit in the holes on the mounting plate.
