I have always installed new K&N filters and K&N CAI in my vehicles. I can't speak for the actual gas mileage increase but my 2009 Mustang GT 4.6L V8 gets 30 MPG highway and the posted MPG is around 24 MPG so I would say it definitely increased it by at least 2 - 4 MPG. The install was easy and the instructions was good. It took about 2 hours from start to finish and it looks great. With this CAI and my Borla Cat Back exhaust the increased throttle response is noticeable.
