"Verry easy to install, about 25 mins. Sounds nice can tell gives truck a little more power. Worth the money." —Michael O from Brackenridge, PA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"I installed the K&N FIPK on my 2004 Ranger/EDGE 3.0 L V6 .The install was very easy and took me about an hour to complete. All the hardware and parts provided fit perfect and snug. There is a noticeable increase in horse power, automatic tranny shifts much more smoother and at higher RPM's.I have noticed a slight increase in gas mileage but havent determined just how much more per tank. The K&N FIPK also works well with the Dynamax duel exhaust system that I had installed prior to installing the FIPK,makes the truck sound that much more aggressive when getting on the gas pedal hard and when pulling a loaded covered trailer it's a nice boost in pulling power going up hills and when driving directly into the wind. This is an easy do it yourself add on if you have a Ford Ranger with the 3.0 L V6 engine.I find it to be a good investment so far." —Christian P from Davie, FL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"Good kit, the tools they say you need is incomplete so be ready for that, other than that easy to install noticable power gain, pretty good on fuel savings i get about 60miles more a tank." —Mark C from Tampa, FL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"So I buy my new truck, a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge. I'm pleased with the truck, and instantly I have a list of stuff I want to do. After research on top of research, I decided to try out the K&N FIPK. I'm glad i did. I had a Magnaflow performance exhaust. Before, it sounded loud, but not quite loud enough to satisfy my ego. I buy the FIPK and wow. My little truck sounds like a race car. More air intake, more of a roar, and less gas. I would recommend this product to anyone who can put this on their truck." —Patricia B from Plano, TX bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"Great product. Istalled in 1hr in the driveway. Can feel the power increse in the upper rpm's (2500+) and I get the same mpg. Plus I can't hear the sucking common to most intakes. Highly recomend this product." —Matt T from San Diego, CA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"Excellent economical performance addition for any vehicle. Sounds great and greatly improved my acceleration. Easy to install and looks great." —Derek H from Springfield, MO bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"The unit itself is great. Adds more power to my truck and I have seen a noticeable difference in fuel mileage and also more get up and go from the engine. The only problem I had was when they sent me the wrong filter but I just went out and bought a better one for around $20. All in all a good experience!" —Matthew M from Tampa, FL bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"I recieved my package on time and the install took just an hour. The low end torque was very noticeable and there is a lot more pick up at freeway speeds when you stomp on it. Also I did notice an extra 2 miles per gallon than normal : )" —Eric S from Pleasanton, CA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"I Didn't understand that the filter box wasn't to be removed compleatly. It took time to figure that out without instruction illustration." —Darryl N from Phoenix, AZ bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"I bought my system in hopes for more power and fuel efficiency, to my surprise, I got both. The power can definitely be felt in 1st and 2nd gears and past 3000rpm in 3rd, I don't get it up that high in 4th/5th to feel a difference. So far for fuel economy, I've been gettin 1-2 mpg better than before, but need to find a consistent station to get gas from (one that doesn't have ethanol seems to run best). You can also hear the intake when you're giving it gas, and when you get into it, it whistles and reminds me of a mini-turbo, absolutely looove that sound. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and autoanything was the cheapest I could find it." —Dennis T from Clymer, PA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
"great cold air intake. looks awesome, sounds great. the only problem i had with it was installing it with my throttle body spacer. i had to cut some of the plastic fan cover out to make it fit. easy fix with the sawzall. over all great product" —Tyler B from Spokane, WA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 Ford Ranger.
