"Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase, but I think K&N May be a little optimistic on the 13 hp increase. Throttle response & acceleration is a little better, but not all that noticeable. It does sound pretty cool when you start it up and when you get on it. Install is fairly easy. Hardest part is getting the old airbox out. Autoanything definately has the best price. Overall I'm happy, but probably wouldn't do over. Maybe if you add the chip tuner also it might make more of a difference." —David I from Aurora, IN bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2010 Ford Ranger, 4.0L V6.
"Instructions were good and clear and when followed to the letter, installation is not too hard. I do however get a "pop" sound from the cone occasionaly when at idle at a red light or stop sign. At the instant of the 'pop' the revs decrease by about 200 or increase about 200 very briefly, but the truck performs normally other times. Any suggestions??" —Andrew C from Norfolk, VA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2010 Ford Ranger.
"The 69 series typhoon system was a very easy install. Nice quality piece...I can feel the difference in HP in my '01 mx-5, and it feels pretty good!" —Terry M from Bedford, PA bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2010 Ford Ranger, 1.8L 4-cyl. engine.
