AEM Brute Force Air Intakes Reviews

Nice set up but the filter that came with it was a K&N filter and doesnt look like the filter in the picture. If i wanted a K&N i wouldve gotten it. Filter was hard to put on kept slipping off when i tightened it. Cant really say about mpg and horsepower due to flowmasters installed but the sound makes the truck sounds mean when you hit the gas hard. There is a slight whistle sound. Other than that sounds and looks good.

This item was a birthday gift for my Grandson. He was delighted with it. Directions were easy to follow and installation wasn't complicated. He thinks it is really helping his gas mileage.

So, first off, I have what's known as the 3.slow engine.(A kind of curse on the second gen 4runners, 65 is difficult to hit) I also live at 6000 ft(very thin air) and have maybe two flat roads anywhere in my town. When I put this on, and drove it for the first time, it was unbelievable. I could get to and hold 65 on pretty much any road, plus my low end torque was exceptional. All in all, worth every penny I paid and I'd do it again if I needed to.
