Installation went well with a few exceptions. First, the heat shield is too tall for the 2000 4Runner. Leaving one screw attached I lowered the shield to allow the hood to fasten down. It is loose but the lowered hood keeps it from moving. Second, the shoulder bolts on the band clamps bottomed out before they tightened down securely. I will have to buy full thread bolts to secure the air tube to the intake manifold. Performance seems to have increased a bit after a few days.

I have researched and read various reviews on a TBS,in my opinion if used by itself you may not notice a difference but I also have the Gibson Dual Extreme Metal Mulisha Exhaust and the K&N 57 Series CAI system which ALL three compliment each other VERY well. I've been driving my jeep for a year before installing the Airaid Poweraid TBS, not only do I love the slight whistle but I can tell a difference on the low end 1st thru 2nd gear which helps getting into traffic. I am extremely satisfied.
