Ive had the spacer for about 2 weeks now. I have noticed a little better throttle response about 1mpg increase. Easy install, abiut 15 minutes.

I purchased this cold air intake for a 2006 Silverado 6.0 Gas burner. I noticed a substantial difference in performance early mornings and brisk nights. Obviously the cool air with less restriction will do it. This intake system allows the motor to consume the extra air needed for additional performance parts that will be installed. Intake alone will not give you the performance your looking for , it is the combination of aftermarket items used for sure ! Enjoy your build up.

Currently testing mpg to see if there is a difference from the old Volant filter. Unit installed on a 6.6 duramax diesel which has a lot of get up and go anyway. Installing hint is to push the rubber flaring inside of filter and place in air intake manifold and then place clamp over rubber and pull rubber out of filter.
