Volant Cold Air Intakes Reviews

Volant 155546

Reviewed By Rick T (East Peoria, IL) Reviewed for a 2016 GMC Sierra —5/20/2017 11:21 AM

I purchased the Volant Cold Air Intake primarily because it uses the Donaldson PowerCore air filter which gives some of the best filtering ability of any filter available with a very low restriction to flow. There were no issues with fitment. Now the negative. I have two concerns with the quality of this CAI. 1) The tube from the air filter to the engine had a couple of pinholes that had to be repaired. 2) The mount for the Mass Airflow Sensor was not flat. Overall, I am happy with this item.

S&B Cold Air Intake Kit Reviews

2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L

Reviewed By Wesley R (HANFORD, CA) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Silverado —5/22/2017 6:37 PM

Was kinda getting a little frustrated with the performance of it at first. After about 300 miles on it, the truck was still Bogging down at times when I would floor it or give it a lot of gas. But after talking to a employee at S&B he told me to leave the battery cables disconnected overnight, cause the computer needs time to completely reset. After reconnecting? the cables it fixed the problem. Can't tell yet about gas mileage but throttle response is noticable. 2 Thumbs up!!

K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit Reviews

cosmetic appearance

Reviewed By Michael L w (Cave Creek, AZ) —5/19/2017 5:13 PM

I was originally going to order and purchase the aFe momentum cold air intake for my 2016 corvette stingray but as we need for speed and horsepower chaps I opted for the K&N air intake when the sales rep explained that I would get more horse power from the K&N intake. I did not realize the K&N was an exposed filter versus the mostly enclosed aFe intake. Cosmetically the K&N looks out of place appearance wise. The exposed cone from the K&N system cheapens the look of the engine bay area.
