Airaid Jr. Kits Reviews

Easy to install and works great!

Reviewed By Glenn A (COPLEY, OH) Reviewed for a 2012 GMC Yukon XL —6/5/2014 8:24 PM

I installed this in just under 15 minutes. Very easy to install and adds a little "roar" to the engine as my kids describe it! I don't feel too much of a difference but I do know that after seeing what it replaced on my 2012 Yukon XL it is definitely a more direct line of air being sent into the engine! We are averaging 17.5 mpg over all with this added. Prior to the Airaid we were averaging 16.5 mpg. Very happy with the product!

Well worth the money.

Reviewed By Doug T (Houma, LA) Reviewed for a 2002 GMC Yukon XL —5/19/2008 1:59 PM

Installed an airaid cold air intake system as well as throttle body spacer on wife's yukon xl. Really woke up that 5.3 liter v-8. In conjunction with a gibson cat back exhaust, loaded down the truck makes 18.5 miles per gallon at almost 75 mph on the highway. Would recommend to any gm owner.

2011 Silverado Air Raid Tube

The was a snap to install, once I figured out the valve cover PCV disconnect. The instructions just say disconnect, but I had to take a little time to figure this one out, spring clip. I assume this connection must be different between years. The tube does make the truck sound better. I do not drive the truck all the time, and when I do I like the sound when I put my foot in it. Hope to see MPH improvement.
