The K&N cold air intake made a noticeable difference in throttle response and gas mileage...I love it! ??

I purchased this intake as a first step of increasing power to pull our new camper. Installation was easy, but did have to trim a little to make it fit. Looks sharp! I was surprised to see how much I will have to disassemble just to service the filter in the future, but not a big deal. Very little difference in sound (good-it is wife's vehicle). I have only run a couple of tanks of gas thru it so far. No noticeable difference in economy in our everyday driving, however for Labor Day trip with camper, it did almost 2 mpg better than last trip with camper! That was neat to see and we will be continuing to monitor over time.

...if you cut a notch in the radiator fan housing. The clearance is probably less than an inch between the fan and the rubber elbow of the air intake...but the whole thing seems very secure. Have had it running for a week with no problems. Because I installed the air intake at the same time as the throttle spacer...I don't know which unit to give credit to the little extra 'kick' in performance I have. My check engine light came on after 2 days....don't know if that's related.....
