K&N Filter

Reviewed By Brandon F (Irving, TX) Reviewed for a 2004 GMC Yukon —9/1/2011 6:32 AM

I bought my AEM intake for one main reason: it was suppose to come with an AEM dry filter (no oiling required). It came with A K&N FILTER!!?? I got to looking at some pictures more closely and a couple of the K&N CAI's look very similiar to the AEM's, so I'm guessing now that K&N owns AEM now. Overall, I am happy due to the overall performance gain in my vehicle and the appearance of the CAI under the hood, but I am not happy that I have an air filter that will require oiling.

Volant Snorkle, Easy Installation : )

Reviewed By Randall D (Blaine, WA) Reviewed for a 2004 GMC Yukon —4/18/2011 9:59 PM

Application 2003 Tahoe, Installation took all of about 20 minutes. I have read reviews from others saying that it is a difficult and time consuming is not. Remove 5 of the most forward inner fender liner snaps (passenger side) and the bottom of the inlet of the intake box is clearly visible. Once removed you will see how easy it is. You "Do Not" have to install it from the bottom and try and reach your hand up to tighten the hose clamps...voila!
