"This is a good product. I was going to give the overall rating a good because there wasn't that much horsepower, but then I thought "what was i expecting? I got what I expected!" So I gave it an Excellent because it gave me max power for a short ram intake, and the sound was great too, and i was happy. The appearance makes my engine bay look a whole lot better. I am always excited when I open my hood around some people and they say, "Cool you got an intake." not much people expect an aftermarket intake on an Accord. The ease of installation was the only thing I had a little trouble on. It didn't give instructions to remove the old air intake system, which for me was no problem, and everything was simple except for the new hose that it gave me didn't give clear instructions, but I figured it out. I got the system on sale so price was wonderful, and the quality of the intake is great. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone else who has an Accord." —Tristan M from Upland, CA bought an Injen IS Series Short Ram Intake for a 2000 Honda Accord, 3.0L V6.
"I had to do a little bending on the front bracket so that everything would line up." —John J R from The Villages, FL bought an AEM Cold Air Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord.
"Just like many others I was skeptical on spending $150 on an intake. I installed the intake in 30 minutes, all stickers and directions included. I took it for a test drive and WOW. It kicks in at about 3000 RPM's and sounds mean. Put the pedal to the floor and you might Sh!t your pants. Great throttle response, pull and horsepower. Don't know much about my MPG because I always have my gas pedal to the floor.
Definitely Recommend" —Tyler M from Minneapolis, MN bought an AEM Short Ram Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord, EX, 3.0L V6.
"Install was easy, took about half an hour. Bottom end torque is noticeable right away. V6 growls above 3k rpm. A bit pricey, but would recommend this upgrade if you have the cash." —Mark B from Rancho Cordova, CA bought an AEM V2 Cold Air Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord, Automatic, 3.0L V6.
"Definitely gives my car a roar when hitting from 3000-4000 rpm. Helps with gas mileage too. Bought this over the CAI , to prevent any water damage to my car. Seeing that we're almost in winter. Highly recommend. AEM." —Devin W from Palmdale, CA bought an AEM Short Ram Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord, LX, 2.3L 4 cyl. engine.
"My car sounds awesome with this intake installed. It just growls and gets even louder when the VTEC kicks in. When I first opened the box I tried to piece everything together and the cone filter was too big. I was directed to AEM customer service and they promptly sent out a new one overnight. One thing that was not mentioned in the instruction manual was that you MUST take the bumper off to take the stock intake off. It was an annoyance but it was very easy to take the bumper off once the splash guard in the wheel well was off. Only been installed for a day but so far im loving it." —Josh C from Brookfield, IL bought an AEM V2 Cold Air Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord, LX, 3.0L V6, automatic transmission.
"I previously had a generic intake system sold through Reilley Auto Parts; and I had purchased two different units. On the first unit, the tab that attached the unit to shock tower broke off due to a poor weld; and the second one comprised of four sections which kept coming apart despite having to retightening the clamps every one hundred miles and I must have paid about $100 for both. As soon as I received the AEM unit I could easily feel the difference in weight as AEM uses a stronger gauge steel tubing and since installing it one month ago, the entire unit still remains as solid as well as the factory air box it replaced. The extra cost was well worth it." —Brett M from Bismarck, ND bought an AEM Short Ram Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord, EX, 3.0L V6.
"INSTALATION WAS EASY. I DECIDED TO GO WITH THE SHORTER VERSION SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WATER GETTING INTO MY ENGINE. THE INTAKE IS INCEDIBLY LOUD ABOVE 4K RPMS, AND I DO FEEL A DIFF IN PERFORMANCE. I WOULD SUGGEST THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE." —James L from Cincinnati, OH bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2000 Honda Accord.
"It works well in my car and has increased the performance. Happy with delivery and quality of overall transaction." —Paul S from Homewood, IL bought an AEM Short Ram Intake System for a 2000 Honda Accord, EX, 3.0L V6.
"Was skeptical, but am very happy with it! Fast shipping and easy to install. Has a fantastic growl that makes heads turn especially when the vtec kicks in!" —Ricardo R from Lawrenceville, GA bought an Injen IS Series Short Ram Intake for a 2000 Honda Accord, 3.0L V6.
