Aem short ram intake

Reviewed By Matt M (Chesapeake, VA) Reviewed for a 1999 Honda Civic —1/17/2014 5:30 AM

Aem intake was a wonderful addition to my vehicle. Adds a little bit of roar to the motor but is also pretty quiet if throttle is not being hit hard. Autoanything had the best price and best service by far. Will definately do business again. Thanks.

Great product

Reviewed By Katrina G (Green Cove Springs, FL) Reviewed for a 1999 Honda Civic —2/14/2012 6:29 PM

Overall I'm very pleased with the product I've noticed a gain in hp and better gas mileage. My only suggestion would be to update the pictures on your website so people know for sure what they are purchasing. Other than that installing was a breeze and the increased sound was very nice. I will in the future order an exhaust kit so please keep up with the coupons they make choosing your site over others easier.

Good Upgrade

Reviewed By Kevin F (Bartlesville, OK) Reviewed for a 1999 Honda Civic —3/4/2010 9:41 AM

This is the first upgrade to my '99 Civic EX so far. It didn't boost performance as much as I had anticipated but there is an improvement. 1st and 2nd gear were effected the most; it feels a little smoother and slightly more responsive. Otherwise there is less noticeable improvement in higher gears until after about 3700 rpm. Then it really growls. My only concern with the unit is how close the filter is to the ground, I am paranoid about hitting puddles and such. If I could do it again i would probably get a short air intake instead, just to play it safe. This is my everyday car so I have to drive it even if it's raining.
