Airaid MIT with Volant CAI Box-Hummer H2

Reviewed By Joe S (Owens Cross Roads, AL) Reviewed for a 2003 Hummer H2 —3/19/2008 8:59 PM

Okay, the volant by it self showed a little bit of deeper tone and mind performance improvement. The addition of the MIT definitely eases the breathing of the engine. Minor difference during full-throttle take offs and defintely louder but not objectionable, seems to whistle a little bit, but nothing like the K&N FPIK I had on my Yukon, all loud, not really performance improvement. Anyway, where I notice a huge difference is acceleration above 70mph, like the engine has new life, pull is longer, easier and stronger. Now all that said, don't expect a MPG increase with any of these products, have Volant box, Airaid MIT and Jet Stage 1 chip, only get around 11.5 mpg, got around 12 mpg before (city driving, highway may change but have not tested it yet with the MIT addition)

Installation issues

The installation would have been easier if the hose that attaches the unit to the engine was 1" longer.
