"Wow. Before, my stock 3.7L 5cyl. engine struggled to keep up with any larger trucks on the road(V6s & V8s) but now i've got immediate response when i open the throttle! Great first step towards releasing the full potential of the H3! Sounds frightning when you catch others off-guard!Almost like police cruisers...hmm, perhaps they k&n intakes as well! lol" —Steve B from Bedford, NH bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.7L 5-cyl. engine.
"Even though the installation instruction have no words, only pictures, it's easy to install. I haven't noticed any improvement in gas mileage, my vehicle does seem to have a greater take off from a dead stop. Also when when having to really get on the accellerator, it sounds like a bigger motor is under the hood. When I step on it while on the interstate to pass or just because, the eccelleration is very good and it sounds like it." —John H from Tucson, AZ bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.7L 5-cyl. engine.
"Installed in my 2007 H3 adn looks, sounds, and performs great. only flaw was during installation, i had to modify the mounting brackets to fit better. with out moving mounting holes on the L brackets there was a large gap between the heat sheild and wheelwel. i give this product an A++" —Michael K from South Portland, ME bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.7L 5-cyl. engine.
"I see a considerable power increase.Gives it a real passing gear when accelerating." —Virginia K from Altamont, NY bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.7L 5-cyl. engine.
"with the volant coldair intake throttle responce greatly improved have had the cai in for one full tank have noticed about a 2mpg increase and that is without any after market exhaust yet.all this is in town driving cant wait to do along road trip to check mpgs shure it will be great.have 26000 miles stock." —Nick Z from Antioch, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Hummer H3.
"I think that this is a great product and it seems that I am getting about 3 more miles to the gallon with this system. It has diffently increased the hoursepower. The only negitive thing is that I thought that it was coming with the hose as it is shown in the picture, but it ony comes with the front half." —Barry S from Littleton, CO bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2007 Hummer H3.
"I purchased an Air Intake kit for my 2007 Hummer. Only problem I had on installation was the wrong Heat Shield was sent by mistake. This alone took four weeks to resolve. Now, that's done I've been able to run with the new air filter and it definately "opens up" the air flow giving more of a response upon acceleration with little or no decrease in MPG." —Neil H from Ellicott City, MD bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.7L 5-cyl. engine.
"I got a little boost, but not as much as I had seen in reviews from others or expected. I did the throttle body spacer at the same time, so it's hard to tell which helped more. I do get a couple more miles per gallon, but for the price, it will take a long time to pay for itself." —Anthony C from Highlands Ranch , CO bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2007 Hummer H3.
"The Volant cold air intake woke up the every powerless H3. I installed it along with the TBS. Test drove it. It was definitely an improvment but still this truck needed more so I put the power chip in it. That made another improvment. Very satisfied with the product overall. Hey we need more power out of these H3's Will somebody slap GM and tell them to get with the game allready. This truck is gutless without the accessaries. Thanks for picking up GM's SLACK." —Mike W from Rockwall, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Hummer H3.
"Excellent product but a little tricky to install. Not for the average Joe with limited knowledge or tools." —Brian W from Springboro, OH bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.5L 5-cyl. engine.
"First off, auto anything was great. Okay on to installation, for my H3 hummer. Well, the L brackets when lined up left a huge gap to the engine compartment defeats the intakes purpose. To eliminate this problem I attached it to the bolt that holds up the inside fender well (3 inches away closest to the grill). I also finished with a lot of random screws and bolts lol. It looks good, it sounds good and performs better than expected. Easily 10hp. It lowered my RPMs. I got a 2mpg increase." —Cameron S from Pensacola , FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Hummer H3, 3.7L 5-cyl. engine.
