Airaid MXP Series Intake for 06 Infiniti QX56

Reviewed By Zachary W (Roseville, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Infiniti QX56 —4/19/2017 8:42 AM

I bought this a few weeks back and installed it the day I received it. The intake is well built and everything went together well except the shroud/engine cover on top of the manifold doesn't go back on the motor as it should because the left side rubs on the new intake tube. That is the only issue with the system. The intake is quiet except at high rpm when you can hear it really pulling air in. I will be coupling this with a Magnaflow cat back system shortly.

Extremely easy to install. Added AES air filters and definitely feel a little bump in power as well as a noticeable increase in gas mileage.

Typhoon install

Reviewed By NASSEER M (JACKSONVILLE, FL) Reviewed for a 2015 Infiniti Q50 —11/8/2016 10:24 AM

The installation was simple I only made one mistake I didn't see the spacers to mount the tube to the bracket but once I found them it was easy as pie to finish. My car has a more throaty sound and I don't have that start lag my car is more responsive. I can't tell if I'm getting any better gas mileage because I have been having too much fun driving on the edge.
