Spectre Cold Air Intake Reviews

good value

Reviewed By Tyler D (LEHI, UT) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Silverado —12/16/2014 2:07 PM

My truck runs on CNG or gasoline. When running on the CNG it is very temperamental with its need for enough oxygen. Even a slightly dirty air filter will make it run bad at higher RPM's. This COI definitely took care of that issue and I can feel a slight difference in power as well. (its not so noticeable when running on gasoline) It did definitely give it a cool new sound. (especially combined with my aftermarket exhaust)

Fabulous Upgrade

Reviewed By Terry J (Schererville, IN) Reviewed for a 2013 Dodge Ram —12/12/2014 8:28 PM

I installed the airaid cold air intake on my Dodge Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi along with the Hypertech controller unit. A tremendous improvement feels like I have a brand new truck . The truck is much more responsive I'm sure gas mileage has improved as well. when I can stop driving around town like I have a Camaro instead of 6 thousand pound truck.Very Satisfied enven tho I was aprehensive at the inital cost over a K&N don't think twice about it now.

K&N Air Kit

Reviewed By Thomas T (TROY, OH) Reviewed for a 1999 Jeep Wrangler —12/9/2014 4:29 AM

Install of the entire kit was very straight forward. Install instructions were great (yes I read the instructions) and the kit hardware is quality. Air filter shield contacts the AC compressor connections causing abrasions on the side of the heat shield. Need to make a work around for that. Looks clean and noticeable horse power increase for a almost stock jeep. Thanks K&N and AutoAnything.com T Trotter
