At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a cold air intake or not, based on all the reviews I've read over the internet. Then I stumbled on this website, with all their good prices. I decided to just spend a little more cash to get something more decent in the long run,and it sure paid off ! Throttle is more responive and the sound, wow ! Unbelievable,It does help with fuel economy if you drive normal(which I almost never do :). Service was great,Shipped fast, will definitely buy again from here.

Works good but install had problems

Reviewed By PRESTON O (SOUTHAMPTON, PA) Reviewed for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee —4/30/2010 4:31 PM

This was the cheapest kit out there and they are all overpriced. It works as advertised but installing it was not so easy. The heatshield did not fit right. The hood would not close properly. I had to do a lot of cutting to get the heatshield to fit around some hoses and in places where it contacted the body in order for it to sit low enough so I could get the hood to close flush with the fender. The supplied breather hose was too short so I had to buy a coupler to make it work. One bolt was too short and I had to use a longer one. The other bolt in the front part was impossible to put on. I had to use a special clip that has threads to install the bolt. The only good thing is the filter. Easy to clean and no oil needed.
