"Very pleased with performance and ease of installation. Perhaps a little more air induction noise at certain RPMs than I would prefer but not a major fault." —Ross H from Reno, NV bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I have been hunting for a good air intake system for my 5.7 liter Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. 2005 for a long time. Thought I had to have a K & N. Wrong. I found the AEM Brute Force unit and decided to try it. Sure am glad I did.Install was simple in about 20 minutes. Fit and finish is great. Not sure yet about MPG and power. We'll see when I get the Hypertech programmer and dual Flowmaster exhaust on it next week. A Good Product !" —Nat H from Brunswick, GA bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Took about 1 1/2 hours to install. Sounds great and has increased my MPG around 2-3 with a heavy foot and part highway/city driving." —David L from Jacksonville, FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I had a 1995 Jeep Grand Cher 5.2L and had installed a K&N cool air system on it. This gave me a great point of view for comparison. Now I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cher Limited 5.7L HEMI. I had no expectations that the Brute Force Air system would turn this quiet, demure, dirt kicker into such an animal. The front of the Jeep literally lifts slightly on take-offs and after 2500rpm, growls like the MGM lion. Ala, 1970s and the real GTO that I had in 1967. Besides looking great, what I bought it for, the overall performance is noticeably enhanced. Love IT! Mileage?? HEMI V8 drivers don't ofter care about mileage. THAT is NOT! the point of this engine.Easy install inspite of two major mounting bolts (part of the original airbox) that were not mentioned that had to be removed. And, two foam insulating strips (they had NO install instr,) that I had to find a place for them. I did! Overall - 5 Star." —Thomas H from Valrico, FL bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Can't keep fuel in my 05 Grand Cherokee love the sound and performance that this kit gives me. Arrived on the promised date and was installed within 1.5 hours now looking for exhaust." —Dustin J from Gramercy, LA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"The only reason that this product received 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the instructions not covering all steps neccesary and the fact that when the vehicle is first started it sounds like a large vaccum cleaner is under the hood. Other than that the throttle response and deep bass that it has added to the vehicle is outstanding. I have noticed a 2-3 mile increase per gallon. I am planning on purchasing a Jet chip and Magnaflow exhaust to see if I can't release more trapped power in my 4.7l engine." —Sean T from Waxhaw, NC bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I am over all happy with the product and I am sure it will bring all the performance as advertised. I found the ATS (Air Temp Sensor) hard to install and think this should be addressed. It was an extreemly tight fit and there wasn't any further information, other than to install it with the provided gromet. Also at the end of the instructions it said to tighten all the remaining bolts that were removed but it wasn't specific. I can see where someone might miss something." —James L from Vacaville, CA bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"This thing is awesome. It definately delivers preformance and throaty sound. Only drawback is a two hr install time. Can't keep my foot off the pedal..." —Jeff T from Whiteford, MD bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I have had the system installed for approx. 3 weeks and it's great. I haven't noticed much gas mileage savings yet but the sound and throttle response are great. It woke up the HEMI BEAST! It did take me about 3 hours due to a missing nut but otherwise pretty easy to install." —Jason W from San Diego, CA bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Fast shipping. Arrived and I couldn't wait to put it on. I started during lunch and had 10 minutes to spare. I did my initial road test and am really surprised I didn't get a speeding ticket. The sound is great and the throttle response is definitely noticeable. As far as gas mileage is concerned, I didn't notice any right off the bat because my foot stayed buried in the gas pedal. Once I regained my composure, reset my computer (disconnect the negative cable on batt.) and dropped in a bottle of injector cleaner, I averaged an extra 2-ish mpg. not overly impressive, but better than what I had before. Aesthetically, very nice. I recommend for anyone looking for a nice looking performance add on. Instructions were clear, but could definitely use more pictures. Now I can add a throttle body spacer and magna flow exhaust and i'll put my Jeep next to a 5.7L Hemi and see what happens. Hope this review helps." —Adrian P from Clarksville, TN bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Increased my mileage by +2.0mile/gal going long distance. (19mi/gal to 21.5mi/gal) I didn't notice a major power change other than acceleration at high rpm's. I'm glad to have purchased this intake." —John P from Manassas, VA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
