"I recently installed the Series 77 on a 2012 4-cyl Chevy Equinox. The listing was for a 2011 Equinox, but the engine is the same, and it installed exactly by the directions. Caution with the loose air mass sensor cable when fastening the supplied top of the airbox. I caught it the first time. The system is great and supplies noticeable extra power. I will install a system on another vehicle soon." —Jesse O from Kingwood, TX bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"the speed of shipping really surprised me, and the instructions were a piece of cake, even for an old retired air force M/sgt. took about half an hour and it works. I do0n't know how much on fuel milage but the impression ratio(the sound) is great.." —Richard S from Elizabeth City, NC bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"It took me a few extra days to get K&N filter, but autoanything kept me informed all the time. I love the sound and according to my fuel indiector on 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6 V6 I will see an improvement in fuel mileage. It wasn't that easy to install , but if you read the instructions you'll "get-er-done".. thanks Rick. North Carolina" —Richard S from Elizabeth City, NC bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I was very pleased with the ease of installation. I noticed quicker acceleration with a nice sounding growl. Overall I am very happy with the purchase." —Joshua H from Gibson, LA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"My Jeep really roars now that I have installed this intake. Once you get up to about 4000 RPMs you really hear (and feel) the difference. I have also noticed between 2-4 mpg difference in average fuel economy. The installation was fairly straight forward, the hardest parts was getting all of the factory materials out." —Nick P from Madison, WI bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"The system was easy to install, sounds great and gives the motor better throttle response." —Tim H from Elmira, NY bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Installation took about 90 mins, most of which was spent taking out the factory intake. I have never done any work on my own cars, but decided to take on the challenge to save money, and i must say, very very simple to install with one person. The sound is amazing! a nice deep growl, without being over bearing or whiny. So far ive noticed about 1.5MPG increase and a substantial power increase thats noticable on initial take off and very noticable at freeway speeds! This made my truck fun again!" —Paul E from Hillsboro, OR bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Has a nice purer at open throttle but absolutely quit while normal driving horse power u can feel and installation was easy but I'm a mechanic it took about 30 min down fall is plastic engine cover no longer fits on engine" —Ryan W from Williston Park, NY bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"My buddy and I took out the OEM Jeep equipment and replaced it with the kit in about 1 1/2 hours. Looks great, sounds great. Gas mileage won't improve because of the added NEED to accelerate (for effect!)" —Adam F from Atlanta, GA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"The K&N series intake for the cherokee is a great looking kit, extremely nice. However i found a couple things i would fix about the overall engineering, the hole drilled for the air sensor is so tight once i put the rubber seal given with the kit on the air sensor, its almost impossible to fit it in. Once i got it in there, it has a slight angle to the positioning. A small piece of the plastic was broken off the air sensor on the house n part, does not effect the function of the sensor. So to sum it all up a millimeter or so should be cut out of the bottom of the pipe for the fitting of the factory air sensor or shaving a lil of the air sensor itself "Dont recommend that very very fragile as you can tell mine broke a little and i was being gentle". One more thing i might add would be the plastic adapter for the vacuum to the vehicle, the plastic adapter is really thin once you start tighting it down in the pipe you have to be careful not to snap it. Overall i think it should be aluminum or steel. Other than that im extremely happy with the look and the function of it also it sounds great." —Larry M from Lebanon, TN bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I was driving down the interstate with my Banks CAI in the back of my truck and it blew out of the truck and got hit by an eighteen wheeler. Blew the box apart, parts went everywhere then another car hit the intake tube! Amazingly nothing broke, just got scuffed up and I found all the pieces. Intake is on the truck now and works great. Great quality. Still cant beleave nothing broke after getting hit by a peterbuilt. More that satisfied." —Adam C J from Hopewell, VA bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
