"I have a heavily modified xj and it is a task to squeeze power out of these after a certian point, with this K&N kit it was an excellent difference I ran a dyno at +9hp and 14Trq! I would reccomend this to any one who wants to feel more power and get better gas milage doing so." —Matt A from Bel Air, MD bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0L 6-cyl. engine.
"GOOD STUFF, GOOD TIMES, REALLY WORKS ON MY CHEROKEE ESPECIALLY FOR GAS MILAGE." —Adela B from Mobile, AL bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee.
"Once installed, the raised letters where hitting my hood. I had to cut off the letters which ruined the look, all the pics show the letter are sunk in, not raised. Seems to work OK, did not notice much difference in performance, sounds better at WOT. Next installed a Cat-back exhaust, sounds better and runs better. Finally added a larger throttle body, now with all three, much better response and performance." —Kevin B from Kirkland, WA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee.
"very good product. great sound and throttle response. the truck now shifts better." —Nicholas C from Annapolis, MD bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 5.4L V8.
"added a whole lot of horsepower and performance in my jeep. Thanks autoanything!" —David V from Marshall, MI bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee.
"The K&N 77 series metal intake kit was a great enhancement and an addition to the vehicles' performance and personal enjoyment of listing to the 5.7 HEMI scream as the accelerator was depressed. This was a good investment." —Bernard L from Lenoir City, TN bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee.
"Easy installation, fits perfect. Feel a bit more power, too soon to see effects on MPG. Dry filter does not yet have CA. smog clearance, but AFE says it will come by August and they will sent the sticker. The oiled filters have their clearance already.
I ordered Just the dry filter for my 92 Dodge diesel and will build my own piping and enclosure.
The oiled filters have a better air flow, but the dry ones have double that of the stock set-up and require very little maintenance.
the Jeep always had plenty of power, my main reason for going with this was to improve MPG. My Saturn (that was converted years ago) gets about 3 mpg more than stock, and has much better response.
bob" —Robert P from Orinda, CA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0L 6 cyl. engine.
"Overall, there is an improvement in engine response. better throttle response, some more power, and yeah, a little bit better sound. horsepower wise, i would say i maybe gained 5 or so, but it doesn't feel like that much. the biggest improvement for me, is overall throttle response, whether going wot or just cruising. some sound improvement, but overall about the same as stock. pretty easy installation and very good and detailed instrunctions. overall good product for the price." —Joseph S from Erie, PA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0L 6 cyl. engine.
