"This kit defineatly adds some power but IT DOES NOT FIT WITH THROTTLE BODY SPACER ON V-8 MODEL I had to cut it u to get it to work, but it was well worth the money." —Jesse C from Rapid City, SD bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
""Exactly what I was expectecting to get. I researched the top leading models, and it came down to the K&N or Airraid. The sound of the the massive air flow being sucked in, was the first thing I noticed. Faster throttle response, quicker acceleration. Im still checking the gas milage, think I got a 7 more miles. The next step is upgrading my exhaust, which im ordering after this post."" —Charles W from Hatfield, PA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Definetly more power and at least .5 MPG increase so far. Had a bit of a problem aligning the snorkel holes to the studs in the throttle body, they were a little short or the gasket was too thick (the stock one was thinner. Other than that, easy as pie." —Robert N from Vacaville, CA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 5.2L V8.
"Filter works great...easy to install.Gas mileage increased 3.5mpg!!! Great product!!!" —Thomas M from Bloomfield, IN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"This kit was easy to install, I could tell there was a bit of a proformance boost and it sounds cool. I have also noticed that I get about a mile a gallon better fuel economy." —Garrett D from Eugene, OR bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0L 6-cyl. engine.
"Highly recommended! I wasn't skeptical at all. I ordered this for my 96 grand Cherokee 4.0l v6, without this product my car was a slug, with this product my car is a slug on steroids. I also ordered the jet throttle body spacer.. This combo works well.. Not sure about the mpg savings yet but I feel the extra horses as I pull into traffic and such, honestly there is more horse power with this.. Also with the combo it adds a sweet roar/rumble sound as I accelerate and a blow off sound after letting off the gas.. As for the installation, it was easy, it will take time; if you want it to look nice and put care into it it'll take a little longer. I recommend if you have a older vehicle after you take off the old air box junk and if you get a throttle body spacer or not, take the 4 bolts or so and disconnect the throttle body from the car and clean the crud out of it, get all that carb and crap off (I used simple green and paper towels) make sure not to get crap in the intake, I used masking tape. Shipping was fast and awesome too.." —Josh A from Beaverton, OR bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
