"This cold air intake gave my jeep power and a really nice sound!!! Great intake, K&N is sick!" —A J M from White Plains, NY bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"Installation was not too hard at all, did put MPG up about 1.5 or 2, But that is if you drive regularly. Now that it is actually in your car you love the sound. So you will develop a heavy foot and love flooring it." —Shawn A from Pottstown, PA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0L 6-cyl. engine.
"Sounds nice, looks nice, overall I'm very happy with product especially with the directions being dead on, and delivery was fast, thanks for the good service.." —Daniel S from Las Vegas, NV bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0L 6-cyl. engine.
"I felt the fipk system work immediately following the fairly simple installation process. The sound, assisted by my exhaust system, changed dramatically. When you hit the high rpm's, the system roars, but at low R's and idle, it's nice and quiet. Overall, an excellent investment." —Joseph N from Nixa, MO bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L V8.
"All I can say is "WOW." What a difference in the power. However, I have not been able to keep my foot out of the gas enough to notice a difference in MPG yet. It also makes the Jeep sounds like it has a V8 under the hood. I would definately recommend this product to anyone!" —Gene S from Orlando, FL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I recently installed the 77 series Cold Air Intake kit on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I am very pleased that someone finally lives up to all the hype! I have gained roughly 1.5 MPG on highway.8 in city. Not sure about exact HP, but can definately notice a huge difference in power/acceleration when i kick down on it. Also, the sound is great!..very deep and mechanical, almost like a weak supercharger. Def. worth the price.
-Russ" —Russell S from Somerset, KY bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I got this intake for my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee. Nothing fit. First the fresh air tube for the transfer and trans case was too short so I had to cut up the old one to extend the 5 inch long section they give you to reach 12. After this I thought the rest would be a sinch. It wasn't the box was about 2 inches off of all the mounting points. I finally got all of the mounting points to line up with bending the air box and moving steering fluid lines. Once I got this finished the box was too tall for the hood to close. I had to grind down the box approx. half a inch just to close the hood. If you don't have a fairly high level of mechanical skill DO NOT BUY THIS it took me 2.5 hours to install. With that said it does look very good and sounds terrific with a V8 flownaster exhaust and a superchip has an amazing deep breathing sound." —Nicholas F from Warren, NJ bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L V8.
"I went back and forth on getting a cold air intake for a long time but I found one on here for a great price then I found out it qualified for free shipping and a huge discount. It was a win win. I have a flowmaster super 44 with an exhaust cutout right before and with the added air rushing into the engine it sounds amazing. The big trucks actually shut their mouths now when I step on the gas." —Jordan M from Spokane, WA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L V8.
"This was the cheapest kit out there and they are all overpriced. It works as advertised but installing it was not so easy. The heatshield did not fit right. The hood would not close properly. I had to do a lot of cutting to get the heatshield to fit around some hoses and in places where it contacted the body in order for it to sit low enough so I could get the hood to close flush with the fender. The supplied breather hose was too short so I had to buy a coupler to make it work. One bolt was too short and I had to use a longer one. The other bolt in the front part was impossible to put on. I had to use a special clip that has threads to install the bolt. The only good thing is the filter. Easy to clean and no oil needed." —Preston O from Southampton, PA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7L V8.
